Layne Wilkerson is co-founder and Managing Partner at CTM Wealth Advisors. He is a seasoned financial advisor with a career spanning over 25 years.
In his role, Layne is responsible for setting the vision and strategy of the firm, guiding its growth and development. He focuses on building and nurturing relationships with High Net Worth (HNW) clients, understanding their needs, and helping to provide tailored financial solutions.
Additionally, Layne oversees the firm's team, fostering a culture of continuous professional development. His responsibilities extend to marketing and business development, where he spearheads initiatives to expand the firm's reach and market presence. Layne also manages the financial aspects of the firm.
Layne's journey in financial advising began with American Express Financial Advisors, where he honed his skills over several years. In 2007, he ventured into independence, establishing Wilkerson Financial.
Layne holds a Bachelor’s degree from Western Kentucky University and a Master of Science in Personal Financial Planning from the College for Financial Planning. His commitment to professional excellence is evident through his certifications as a CERTIFIED FINANCIAL PLANNER™ (CFP®), Chartered Retirement Plans Specialist (CRPS) Designee, and Master Planner Advanced Studies (MPAS) Designee.
Beyond his professional endeavors, Layne is deeply engaged in his community. He has served as the President or Chair of various organizations, including the Franklin County Community Fund, Franklin County Trust for Historic Preservation, and Capital City Museum boards. His dedication to public service is further demonstrated by his current role as the Mayor of Frankfort, KY.
